wet dreams

i dream sober and blind,

of blue eyed loves, of green eyed loves,

uncolored loves wrapped in burlap

each with a wandering shadow.

there are those that intrude.

something’s painted six colors,

kisses me and leaves me stupid,

naked to one hundred colors.

when trouble becomes simple

i’m hooked on a mobile, used.

i touch strangers in disguise

and speak to the freaks

within their restless smiles,

a fading storm reveals the sun.

when tomorrow stumbles,

i will  wait to fall in love again

with a delicate shade.
